1. Principle
This policy supplements the Terms & Conditions. The principle: the Client pays for work actually performed and results actually delivered. Refund terms in a specific quotation or contract take precedence.
2. Press releases & media placement
- Cancellation before the release is sent to media: full refund, minus the copywriting fee if the draft has already been written and delivered.
- Cancellation after the release is sent but before publication: refunded per outlet not yet published, minus non-recoverable amounts Socta has already paid to outlets, with a breakdown shown to the Client.
- Outlet declines or does not publish within the agreed period: the Client chooses an equivalent replacement outlet or a 100% refund of that outlet’s fee.
- Articles published as agreed are not refundable.
- Articles taken down by the outlet within 30 days of publication, not at the Client’s request or due to a breach of section 5 of the Terms: Socta seeks republication or an equivalent replacement. If neither is possible, that outlet’s fee is refunded pro rata.
3. Websites, SEO & media monitoring
- Website projects: refunds are calculated by milestone. Milestones delivered and approved are not refunded; payments for milestones not yet worked on are refunded.
- SEO and media monitoring (subscriptions): may be stopped for the next period by written notice before the new period starts. Periods already under way are not refunded.
- Third-party costs already paid on the Client’s behalf (domain, hosting, licenses) are non-refundable, but those assets are handed over to the Client.
4. If Socta cannot deliver
If Socta cannot start or complete the work for reasons on Socta’s side, payment for the portion not performed is refunded in full.
5. How to request
- Send your request to halo@socta.id, soctacreatives@gmail.com, or WhatsApp +62 813-6052-9116, including the invoice number, service, and reason.
- Socta responds within 3 business days with a breakdown of the calculation.
- Approved refunds are transferred to an account in the Client’s name within 14 business days after the calculation is agreed.
6. Disagreements
If the Client disagrees with the refund calculation, it is resolved under section 13 of the Terms & Conditions.
